Weird Winter

This winter has by far been weird this year. We usually get a nice amount of snow during the winter season here in Ohio. Winter has been very mild with only a few dustings of snow. I love the winter and feel like we were cheated this year. Winter is a magical time for my family and many memories are made. We love to go sledding, making snowmen as tall as Daddy, snowball fights, snow angels, making snow forts and just sitting by the window snuggled up in a cozy blanket sipping hot chocolate while watching the snow fall. There is something magical about the snow falling. It's so beautiful and peaceful.

While walking through our yard, I noticed a lot of the beautiful spring flowers popping up. As much as I love the Winter, Spring is just as magical. The warm air along with all of the beautiful trees and flowers coming back to life and the smell of the blossoms is amazing. It's almost time to get started on the seeds and the planning of our Fairy Garden.
