My friend Sarah and I love to crochet. We wanted to be able to help people in need in our community, so we created 'With Loving Hearts and Hands Crochet". This winter, we have been making hats and scarves to donate to the homeless shelter. So far, we have donated 17 scarves and 15 hats. Everyone deserves to be warm and know that someone cares.
Throughout the year, we would like to be able to make Infant and Preemie Hats and Blankets for the NICU Department and Children's Hats for the Pediatric Oncology Department at Children's Hospital. Lapghans and Afghans for Hospice and Nursing Homes and Hats for cancer patients.
If you crochet or knit and would like to make any of the above items, it would be greatly appreciated.
If not, you can still help by donating yarn so we can make as many items as possible.
